Challenge
Junkyard Golf Club needed a loud and bold campaign that would reach defined audiences ahead of their Newcastle venue opening. The campaign needed to generate brand conversations, drive engagement and reach a new heights of awareness for a brand that deserved to launch in Newcastle with a ludicrously loud bang.
Twist planned and delivered a successful pre-launch campaign and launch party comprising PR, brand collaborations, influencer marketing and event planning.
Approach
Pre-launch activity included handing brand collaborations for instagrammable invite boxes, managing celebrity guest lists and organising live entertainment from BBC Radio One DJs and international acts to attract and entertain a crowd of 300 influencers and press.
The launch party and all the hype building up to it through PR and on social media helped to make Junkyard Golf Club THE MOST talked about crazy golf venue in the region.
