Slim Chickens, a famous American fast-food franchise, briefed Twist to launch it’s first venue in the North East (all while during a national chicken shortage).
Our approach to getting the Slim Chickens name on everybody’s lips was to deliver multiple media announcements in print and broadcast, and to fill targeted social feeds with relevant content from the huge foodie influencer and blogger scene in Newcastle.
This campaign saw every regional media outlet cover the pre-launch and opening stories of Slim Chickens in the Metrocentre, and engagement skyrocketed after we invited over 40 of Newcastle’s foodie influencers to a private pre-launch event.
Following the campaign, the restaurant was packed and people queued to taste Slim’s mouth-watering chicken and world-famous sauces.
