Challenge

Stay in Bamburgh offers beautiful holiday apartment accommodation in Northumberland and were looking to increase the number of direct holiday bookings and needed a website and SEO campaign to drive bookings to improve conversion. 

Approach

Using our knowledge of the hospitality industry, our approach to getting the Stay in Bamburgh visible on Google was to firstly design and develop a user-friendly WordPress website with a design that required the least number of clicks to navigate what they needed to see in order to place a booking. As a new business, part of the strategy to was build trust in the brand so we used powerful content  combined with setting up their Google Search account so they could start collecting reviews from guests straight away.

The clean design, was strengthened with an SEO strategy that incorporated relevant keyphrases and link building.    

Results

  • Stay in Bamburgh appeared on page one of Google for targeted key phrases within one month of launching 

  • The website appears in the second position (after booking.com) on the first page of Google – appearing ahead of every other well established cottage companies and businesses in Northumberland
